When we decided more than a year ago to auction the entire Schmidt Collection of Coca-Cola® Memorabilia, we never dreamed the interest would be so strong. We are so thankful for how the Coca-Cola-collecting community embraced our decision to make our best pieces available to the public. It is with mixed emotions that I let you know that our recent September auction will be our last. Plans for a March 2013 auction have been cancelled.
The remaining collection has been sold, which brings to a close my family’s 40-year period of collecting and displaying some of the best advertising art Coca-Cola ever created. Thanks again for the interest you have shown in the Schmidt Collection, especially those who purchased items during the auctions or visited the museum during its many years of operation. Sincerely,
