Well, here we are with December almost gone and 2012 just around the corner. I hope everyone finds a great bottle or bottle go with in your stocking Christmas morning!
In 2012, I hope that you try to make it to an antique bottle show or a Coca-Cola Club event. Check the links for Bottle Shows or the Coca-Cola Club and find something close to you. Who knows, we might run into each other at an event.
Look forward to seeing you in 2012!
Keep the questions coming too!
And thanks for a great year here at the blog.

have you heard anything about Coca Cola giving its employees a replica of the original bottle prototype for Christmas this year? I have seen photos of both and the new ones are not as wide in the middle. what are the collectible possibilities for these? if Coca Cola does a general release, will these first ones be more valuable than the later ones? what do you think these would bring on the market now if some of the employees sold them?

Helon,
Yes, I heard about these bottles and in fact I bought one on ebay. I bought mine in May, when they first began to give them out to employees for the 125th Anniversary of Coca-Cola. I paid $50. I don’t know what they are going for now. I know more and more are showing up for sale, which could cause the prices to go lower. If the first issued bottles are different from a general release, they will be worth more, but if they look the same it will bring the prices down.
